White Supremacy Movement Manifest in Washington DC
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o6-bi3jlxk This speech (posted above) is a diabolical alternative to the socially liberal press. The pendulum swing here creates a violent whiplash in my soul. This is madness. Evil. Sinful. Godless.
Read these quotes from the video:
"We don't exploit other groups. We don't gain anything from their presence. They need us and not the other way around. (applause)"
"Within the very blood in our veins as children of the sun lies the potential for greatness. That is the great struggle we are called to. We are not meant to live in shame and weakness and disgrace. We were not meant for moral validation from some of the most despicable creatures to ever populate the planet. We were meant to overcome. Overcome all of it. Because that is natural and normal for US!"-
God judged this ethnocentric sin. It's corporate self-centeredness. It's seeking to build a name for one's group, not for the glory of Jesus Christ as Lord and the good of all others BUT for the glory of one's group to the detriment of others. It is sinful. It is idolatrous. It is evil. And it is present in America. It's also present in our hearts.
Genesis 11:4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the sky. Let us make a name for ourselves; otherwise, we will be scattered over the face of the whole earth.”5 Then the Lord came down to look over the city and the tower that the men were building. 6 The Lord said, “If they have begun to do this as one people all having the same language, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let Us go down there and confuse their language so that they will not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So from there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth, and they stopped building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called Babylon, for there the Lord confused the language of the whole earth, and from there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.
Let's examine ourselves, repent of individual and group self-centeredness, and trust in Jesus Christ's death and resurrection for us. Then let's call others to repent from their sins.
I call Richard Spencer to repent of seeking to exalt himself and his group instead of exalting Jesus Christ as Lord. I invite him to trust in Jesus Christ's death for sinners and resurrection from the dead. If he comes to Jesus, God will give him a name in Jesus for his exaltation in due time.
We were made for greatness. But not some Satanic counterfeit that leads to hate and destruction. We were made in God's image. Only in death to self-centeredness and sin and by faith in Jesus can we have true, eternal, and present greatness.
